Service Description
TiSwap returns the bolts, nuts, and washers you ship in matching titanium specifications. Special or complex shapes are priced on consultation.
Material Grade Selection
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate titanium grade for their intended application. TiSwap provides grade descriptions for informational purposes only and does not warrant that any particular grade is suitable for the customer's specific use case.
Limitation of Liability
TiSwap shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of provided parts in any application. This includes, but is not limited to, structural failures, breakage, injury, or property damage. Parts are provided to match the dimensional specifications of the original hardware, but fitness for any particular purpose is not guaranteed.
Customer Responsibility
The customer assumes full responsibility for determining the suitability of titanium parts for their intended application, including but not limited to load-bearing capacity, environmental conditions, and safety requirements.
Manufacturing Accuracy
TiSwap strives for dimensional accuracy by measuring from the customer's actual parts. Minor variations within standard manufacturing tolerances may occur.
Operations
Matching titanium is prepared with manufacturers across Japan. icehamburg inc. handles intake, guidance, and shipping. This does not mean factory ownership.
International shipping, duties, and customs
When international delivery is available, quotes and invoices from TiSwap / icehamburg inc. generally cover arrangement fees in Japan and outbound international shipping from Japan only. Customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, clearance fees, inspection or storage charges, brokerage, fines, and costs of return or disposal in the destination country are entirely the customer’s responsibility. We do not sell or ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). We are not liable for customs delays, holds, inspections, returns, disposal, or resulting schedule slips or costs. Import declarations, permits, and compliance are your responsibility.
Shipping costs and transit risk
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, you pay shipping and insurance for sending original parts to us and for delivery of finished parts to you. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for loss, damage, or delay in transit. Arrange your own insurance if needed.
Payment
After you accept a quote, we send a Stripe payment link. Payment is by credit card via Stripe only. Work starts after payment is confirmed. Destination customs duties, import taxes, and clearance charges remain the customer’s responsibility.
Acceptance of orders
Depending on part specifications, condition, quantity, intended use, or manufacturability, we may be unable to provide a quote or accept your request. Thank you for your understanding.
